Persimmon anticipates rise in new home completions in full-year results

Value of forward sales up in third quarter update

Persimmon’s new home completions are expected to rise this year, a third quarter trading update has revealed.

In an update for the period from 1 July to 2 November, the housebuilder said that a company-compiled consensus had predicted it would complete 11,293 homes in the full year, with an underlying pre-tax profit of £429m.
