3,000-home Birmingham scheme step closer due to £173m grant funding allocation

Smithfield will see 3,000 homes delivered by Lendlease and Crown Estate

The Smithfield scheme in the centre of Birmingham has been allocated £172.8m in grant funding.

Plans for the neighbourhood, which is home to the city’s famous Bull Ring Markets, include more than 3,000 homes and a park, as well as new culture and leisure attractions.
