Judge upholds planning approval for 10,000-home East Herts new town scheme

Places for People and Taylor Wimpey involved in scheme with more than 2,500 affordable homes

A judge has refused permission for a judicial review of the planning approval for a 10,000-home new town in East Hertfordshire.

In January this year, East Herts District Council granted permission for two outline applications for a 10,000-home project in Gilston, which form part of the Harlow and Gilston Garden Town.
