Expert panel set up to explore retrofit consumer protection and regulatory reform
Move comes after cases of substandard insulation were found to be ‘widespread’
The energy ministry has set up an expert panel to explore reform of consumer protections and regulations related to retrofit.
Last year, routine checks uncovered cases of substandard solid wall insulation fitted under the Energy Company Obligation 4 and Great British Insulation Scheme.
